Types of Loft Conversion We Build
Velux (Roof Light)
The simplest option. We add roof windows and finish the existing roof space. Ideal for lofts with good existing head height.
Dormer
A box style extension off the existing roof slope. Adds usable floor space and head height. Suitable for most terraced and semi detached homes.
Hip to Gable
Replaces the sloped side of the roof with a vertical wall, creating a much larger loft. Common on end of terrace and semi detached properties.
Mansard
A near vertical rear wall and almost flat roof. Maximum space, premium finish, often requires planning permission.
